We are delighted to announce that the Scaffolding Association has been shortlisted for three Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards – a real honour in a field packed with outstanding organisations and achievements.
The TAF Awards are widely regarded as the leading awards for trade associations in the UK, recognising excellence in leadership, innovation, member engagement and good governance. They celebrate the organisations and individuals who are raising standards across the sector, championing their industries and delivering real value for members.
We’ve been shortlisted for:
- Magazine of the Year – AccessPoint
- Best Association / Supplier Partnership – Tewkesbury Printing Company
- Trade Association Leader of the Year – Robert Candy, Chief Executive
These shortlists reflect a huge amount of hard work behind the scenes. From the team producing AccessPoint – our postal publication distributed to 4,500 named individuals, around 80% of whom are scaffolding contractors – this recognition highlights the scale and reach of the work being delivered across the Association. AccessPoint plays an important role in how the Scaffolding Association communicates with the sector, educates members, and provides practical support.
Our partnership with Tewkesbury, plays a vital role in enhancing visibility, driving member engagement, strengthening credibility, and supporting the Association’s growth and outreach.
We are especially pleased to see Robert Candy recognised individually. He founded the Scaffolding Association, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026, and his commitment to raising standards, improving transparency and fairness, strengthening professionalism across the sector, and ensuring that members’ voices are heard – regardless of their size – has been central to its success. Today, the Association is the UK’s largest trade body for scaffold contractors, representing more than 680 businesses across the sector.
Being shortlisted is recognition in itself, and we are incredibly proud of the team, our partners, and our members who make this possible.
Thank you to the Trade Association Forum and the judges – and congratulations to all the other finalists. We are looking forward to the awards evening in February.
