In our ongoing efforts to represent and support the scaffolding and access industry, the Scaffolding Association has made a comprehensive submission to the UK government’s Spending Review 2025. This submission outlines critical proposals that focus on three key areas: People, Procurement, and Payment, with the goal of fostering a sustainable, thriving, and resilient sector.
As one of the leading voices of the scaffolding and access industry, the Scaffolding Association is committed to ensuring that our sector is equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. Our submission to the Spending Review 2025 includes evidence-based proposals that address key issues facing our members, from skills shortages to the need for fair payment practices and a commitment to sustainability. By prioritising these areas, we believe the sector can continue to support the UK’s ambitious construction and infrastructure goals.
The proposal we’ve submitted is designed to deliver long-term value for money and align with government priorities such as economic growth, job creation, and the UK’s net-zero targets. By investing in workforce development, fair procurement, and prompt payment practices, the scaffolding and access sector will be better positioned to support the UK’s infrastructure needs while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
