The Scaffolding Association is delighted that its trade magazine, AccessPoint, has been shortlisted for Publication of the Year in the prestigious Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards.
Now in its nineteenth year, the TAF Best Practice Awards 2022 are supported by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and recognise excellence, innovation and best practice amongst UK trade associations.
AccessPoint provides a platform for the Scaffolding Association, the UK’s largest dedicated trade organisation representing the scaffolding and access industry, to share news and views with its members and other selected scaffolding and access businesses.
The journal has a printed quarterly circulation of 4,500 and is supported by its website www.accesspoint.org.uk and social media platforms.
It won Magazine of the Year 2018 at the TAF Awards where judges recognised AccessPoint for its ‘excellent content’ and ‘informative read for anyone in the industry.’
Emily Wallace, Interim Chief Executive, Trade Association Forum, said: “Trade Associations including the Scaffolding Association have played an absolutely critical role in supporting the UK economy throughout the turbulence of the last two years. As we move forward, it is right to celebrate the achievements of the sector, recognise excellence and collaborate to improve the role that Associations can continue to play to support the Economy for the future.”
Robert Candy, Chief Executive of the Scaffolding Association said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. AccessPoint continues to go from strength to strength and provides a platform for a vital construction trade which is often overlooked.”
