The Scaffolding Association is set to return to UK Construction Week Birmingham from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the NEC, where it will exhibit at Stand L18 and feature in the official seminar programme with a panel of expert speakers.
The Association’s return to UKCW Birmingham follows a highly successful appearance at UKCW London, where it engaged with members, industry colleagues, and potential new partners across three days.
Bringing together experience in industry leadership, strategy, and workforce development, the panel will include:
- Robert Candy, Chief Executive – The Scaffolding Association
- Mark Parkin, Strategic Director – The Scaffolding Association
- Karl DeGroot, Lead Consultant – 360 Degrees Consultancy
Together, they will deliver a thought-provoking session titled:
The Next Rise: How Scaffolding Will Shape Tomorrow’s Construction:
Scaffolding has always been the invisible backbone of construction — but its future is far from ordinary. In the years ahead, innovation, sustainability, and new ways of working will transform how we think about access and support structures. This talk will explore how the scaffolding industry can inspire change, empower people, and play a central role in building a safer, greener, and more dynamic construction sector.
As part of the wider exhibition, the Scaffolding Association invites visitors to Stand L18, where the team will be available throughout the event to speak about membership, training support, and its broader work across the industry. They will be joined by the team from AccessPoint who will be available to talk about editorial, advertising or product features.
Attendees will also be able to pick up the latest issue of AccessPoint magazine and the newly published Scaffold Inspection Guidance, which was officially launched earlier this year.
With another strong programme of speakers and exhibitors expected in Birmingham, the Association looks forward to sharing insight, building new connections, and championing progress across the scaffold industry.
