The Scaffolding Association is proud to be a Gold Supporter of No Falls Week 2025, taking place from 12–16 May, and led by the No Falls Foundation — the UK’s only charity solely focused on preventing falls from height.

Falls from height continue to be the leading cause of fatal injury in the workplace, particularly across construction and scaffolding. No Falls Week provides an important opportunity to focus on how these incidents can be prevented — through planning, proper training, and a strong safety culture at every level of a business.

This year’s campaign brings together companies from across the industry to encourage conversations that help reinforce the importance of safe working at height — on every site, every day.

Robert Candy, Chief Executive of the Scaffolding Association, said:

“Scaffolders work at height in some of the most challenging environments in construction. No Falls Week is a powerful reminder that safety must always come first — not just in policy, but in everyday practice on site. We’re proud to back the campaign and fully support its aim of making height safety a constant priority, not a one-off conversation.”

The campaign is relevant to everyone working with or around scaffolding — from contractors and site supervisors to clients and principal contractors — and encourages better communication, safer planning, and more rigorous controls.

Scaffolders are regularly exposed to challenging environments, often in changing site conditions and under pressure to meet deadlines. The Association encourages all scaffolders, contractors, and construction professionals to use No Falls Week as a chance to stop, review, and refocus on safety — not just for the campaign, but every day.
