The Scaffolding Association is pleased to announce a new partnership with Smas Worksafe, one of the UK’s Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Accreditation Schemes.


SMAS Worksafe undertakes desktop assessments of a company’s management systems, assessed according to HSE and SSIP Core Criteria. Helping contractors demonstrate their health & safety compliance to clients and meet construction and related industries’ pre qualification requirements.


SSIP Accreditation shows your commitment to health and safety standards, offering clients and employees assurance that your business offers a safe working environment for all. Smas Worksafe also pride themselves on their unrivalled in-house support and speedy turnaround times. Scaffolding Association members will now be entitled to preferential rates for SSIP Accreditation with Smas Worksafe, with 20% off to all new members and 10% off to renewing members.

Smas Worksafe also offers a range of CITB training courses delivered online, which helps you gain the foundational knowledge needed to elevate your workforce and transform employees into supervisors and site managers depending on the course you take.Scaffolding Association members will also be entitled to a preferential rate of 10% off training booked through Smas Worksafe.


In addition, Smas Worksafe members who join the Scaffolding Association will benefit from a 10% discount on their first year’s membership. Holding a SSIP Accreditation is one of the requirements to becoming an Assessed Member of the Scaffolding Association.
