Get ready to celebrate National Scaffolding Week (NSW)! This unique campaign is all about shouting out the amazing achievements of the scaffolding and access sector and showcasing the diverse range of career paths and opportunities available in this industry.
As the countdown to NSW begins, it’s time to nominate the unsung heroes of the scaffolding sector. With over 34,000 scaffolding operatives and hundreds of people in related roles, the industry is worth a whopping £2.86bn to the UK economy! NSW is on a mission to find those exceptional individuals who’ve gone above and beyond to make a difference in the industry.
Do you know someone who’s used their scaffolding business to raise money for charity? Or maybe someone who’s been instrumental in training and introducing new talent to the industry? Perhaps you know someone who’s dedicated their entire career to the industry and deserves recognition for their years of service? NSW wants to hear all about it! Share their inspiring story and spread the good news to the wider scaffolding community!
To nominate your hero, simply fill out a quick form on the NSW website. Nominees will be listed on the website, promoted on social media with the #ScaffStar hashtag, and honored at the Scaffold Conference in October, organized by the Scaffolding Association.
But don’t wait too long, the deadline for nominations is Friday, September 22nd, 2023! And make sure to stay tuned for all the fun and exciting events during National Scaffolding Week by visiting www.nationalscaffoldingweek.com.
