National Scaffolding Week (NSW) is a brand new campaign to celebrate the scaffolding and access sectors’ many achievements and promote the diverse range of roles and opportunities available within the industry.
In the run-up to NSW, nominations are welcomed to find the heroes of the scaffolding sector. In an industry that’s worth over £2.86bn to the UK economy, there are over 34,000 scaffolding operatives as well as hundreds of people working in associated roles, and NSW wants to find the unsung heroes amongst them.
Do you know someone who;
- Has helped raise money for charity through their scaffolding business?
- Has been instrumental in training and introducing new talent to the industry?
- Has been working within the industry all their life and feel they deserve some recognition for their years of service?
Whatever the story behind the inspirational person/people, NSW wants to hear about it and share the good news stories from the scaffolding sector with the wider industry to showcase the fantastic work that those in the scaffolding community undertake.
Nominations can be submitted via a short form on the NSW website. Nominees will be displayed on the website, shared via social media using the hashtag #ScaffStar, and recognised at the Scaffolding Association’s Scaffold Conference in September.
The final date to submit your nomination is Thursday 15th September.
